Hester Bobolink's eponymous first album is an extended score for moments in space and time. Written throughout the month of April 2018, this release takes you on a jarring, aberrant journey to various locales throughout Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Each track represents a specific area in the city and contains field recordings and musical compositions meant to evoke the ambience and character of the locale.

All songs were constructed and recorded as live performances of different patches in VCV Rack, an open source virtual modular synthesizer. Embracing the randomness of life, there are some generative elements to particular tracks, while others are more deliberate structures and melodies.
